Hanging Heaton clinched the last place in the Bradford League Sovereign Health Care Priestley Shield semi-finals with a 14-run win at Lightcliffe in a match reduced to 35 overs per side.
Heaton posted a challenging total of 207-7, with Francis Nelson (47) top-scoring, before Lightcliffe were all out for 193.
The 2009 winners of the second-team competition will now visit 2010 beaten finalists Baildon on Sunday, July 14, while New Farnley take on Woodlands in the other last-four tie.
