The Bradford Union will pay tribute to former junior organiser Peter Delaney on Sunday with a new competition bearing his name.
The inaugural Peter Delaney Memorial Trophy will take place at Baildon, the home club of the popular official who died last year.
A pairs betterball stableford, featuring one junior and one adult, is the format for the competition, with last year’s Union president John Head donating the trophy.
Competition secretary David Peat said: “Peter was a dedicated servant to junior golf in the Bradford Union and we would love to see as many people as possible entering the event.”
Places are still available and can be booked by contacting Peat on 07946-534061.
The competition starts at 1pm.
