The snow and ice may have the last word but Rawdon Meadows are due to stage the semi-finals of the Bradford Sunday Alliance League's Intermediate Cup this weekend.
Division 2A top-of-the-table Red Lion face Division 1A Thornbury Celtic at 11am, while Whitburn Athletic, third in Division 1A, cross swords with Division 2A Pudsey Amateurs, who could be playing their second semi-final in three days because they are due at Woodlesford tonight in the West Riding County Trophy.
In the Premier Division, champions Buttershaw White Star are due to play will play an in-form Sandy Lane, while West Bowling will play a rare league match when they entertain Bradford Skip Hire at Ainsley's Recreation Ground.
In Division 1B, front-runners White Hart are set to entertain third-placed Delius, and it is the same in Division 3B when Sporting Pudsey are due at second-placed Toller, and in Division 3A with second- placed Black Bull down to host third-placed Sycamores.
