Holders Thackley continue their defence of the Baris Northern Counties East League Cup tonight after being handed home advantage over Barton Town Old Boys in the quarter-finals.

It will be a tricky tie for the Dennyboys. Barton are above Thackley in the Premier Division table following the weekend’s results, which saw Vince Brockie’s men drop to eighth. Just one point separates the clubs.

In the league, Liversedge host rock-bottom Hall Road Rangers in the Premier Division.

Eccleshill United will hope to continue their impressive run of form in Division One when they journey to Grimsby Borough, the club immediately below them in the table.

Silsden have a local derby in the North West Counties Premier Division, when they make the short journey to Barnoldswick Town.

The Cobbydalers are in need of a boost after a disappointing run of results, which has left them languishing in 16th spot.

They trail their hosts by ten places.
