The Bradford Sunday Alliance League have bowed to requests from a number of clubs and agreed to postpone all matches scheduled for Sunday, February 24.

The fixture schedule for that day has already been circulated but players who are also City supporters had made it clear they would like the chance to go to Wembley for the Capital One Cup final on that day.

The league held an emergency committee meeting to discuss the situation and opted to keep that day clear of the intended fixtures.

But teams who do wish to play on that Sunday should e-mail fixtures secretary Brian Goodall by the end of today and he will try and arrange a game.

The league have already postponed their programme for this weekend due to the ongoing bad weather, which also accounted for all last Sunday’s games. It is hoped to resume on Sunday, February 3.
