Calverley United remain top of the Senior B section after a comfortable 4-0 Yorkshire Amateur League win at Sandal Athletic.

United encountered few problems from their second-bottom opponents as goals came from Phil Gathercole, Brad White, Matt Hurrell and Tom Westerman.

Jordan Northin bagged his second consecutive hat-trick as St Bedes Reserves won 4-2 at Old Modernians Reserves in Division Two.

That makes a total of 19 league goals for Northin, the section’s top scorer, as his side climbed above Old Modernians into fourth place.

The other goal for St Bedes came courtesy of Jerome Yewdall with his eighth of the campaign.

Calverley United Reserves’ fight to avoid relegation from Division Three was not helped by a 4-2 home defeat to promotion-chasing Old Batelians Reserves.

Steven Wells and Ryan Craven saw their goals doubled by Phil Bryant, Paul Liley, Rob Wilson and Jamie Sands.

Gareth Peel (2) and Mark Ferguson provided the goals that earned Farnley Sports Reserves a 3-2 win at Old Modernians IV and lifted them to second in Division Four.

St Bedes III leaped four places to fourth in Division Five with a 3-1 home win over East Ardsley Wanderers Reserves, one of the teams they climbed above. Graham Mozley, Kris Balodis and Kev Doherty were on target.
