Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has had his £2,000 fine ratified by the FA.
The Elland Road boss was disciplined for his on-field behaviour and post-match comments in the 1-0 defeat at Millwall earlier this month, after referee Mark Halsey showed a red card to Luke Varney.
Warnock told his players not to shake Halsey’s hand following the defeat, and slammed referees in general for having “gone backwards” in terms of their consistency.
Warnock accepted the charge but appealed against the fine.
The FA’s Independent Regulatory Commission has now confirmed the fine will stand.
