Bradford City clinch loan double

City swooped for two Premier League youngsters to beat today's emergency loan deadline.

West Ham winger Blair Turgott has joined until January 5 and Newcastle centre half Curtis Good up to January 2.

Both can feature in the squad for the trip to Bristol Rovers on Saturday, subject to Premier League approval.

Crucially for City, they are also clear to feature in the cup competitions.

England under-19 international Turgott, 18, has yet to make a senior appearance but has played ten times for the Hammers in the under-21s Premier League this season and scored twice.

He has been an England regular for the past three years through different age-groups, winning more than 25 caps and playing alongside Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling who recently made his debut for Roy Hodgson.

Aussie under-19 international Good, a left-footed central defender, joined Newcastle in the summer from Melbourne Heart after graduating from the Australian Institute of Sport.

Still no news on Good's arrival from Newcastle then? Strange, since it was Parker that broke the news...!

On paper these boys seem like good signings. Turgott to start on Saturday, with Good on the bench? Hanson to get any change out of Guy Branston?

Sensible move. Atkinson and Forsyth aren't orthodox wingers. Thompson used to be, but I'm not sure what he is now.

...and also reported we've signed on loan a centre half from Newcastle United.

Glad you like my accurate assessment. But coming from a guy who labelled Hannah crap who achieved more in his five hours of cameo football for us than Thompson has all season and won't lose any sleep over your name calling. Exactly what has Thompson brought to the team. One goal no assists not very much eh maybe a couple of crosses over hit or hitting the first defender. I'm. Being honest I expected more from the lad but he seems very lazy and lacking in any ability at the moment

It didn't say in the article when I posted so you can thank me for that extra bit which was added, and it didn't even say two signings when I posted.

Sigh, the article has since been edited maybe when I commented Mr Parker added that info, you see you ask a question you get an answer.
People further down the comments are talking of the second signing and again the article has been edited to refer to it so I won't be jumping on them without reason.
Maybe you'd yave been happier if I never asked so we might not know.

TVOR,im pretty sure it did say it in the original article, but never mind that. I hope we have signed two good players today, and give their all for city. Im pleased they can play in the cups, and take some pressure of the others., Lets hope the next few weeks see us cement our position within the front runners and also give a good account of ourselfs in the cups. ctid.

I posted my comment 2 minutes after the story was put up on the site and can tell you that it didn't.
Simon parker even tweeted he forgot to say he could play in all 3 cups, so the smart arses can feel free to appologise at any time.

The boo-boys always have to pick on someone. Atkinson playing well at the moment, so 'macca' finds someone else to call lazy. Who next for you to call lazy or 'crap'?

Be interesting to see the outcome of this battle if it happens waynus.

You'd expect JH to be relishing this as he has a great height advantage and Branno is also pretty slow across the ground too, left foot, right foot and headed hat-trick, the holy trinity. :)

Ok, I'm dreaming.

Big chance to pick up three points although they will be desperate to end their bad run

And I hope GT sees this comment too, hopefully he will take it and use it to try prove us wrong. He;s big enough, old enough and ugly enough to take the criticism and there is no way he can think he is doing the shirt justice at present.

A seasoned pro such as GT should be able to handle this criticism, it isn't like macca, or a large portion of our support have said anything untrue, it is up to GT to pick his performance levels up or as said above, send him to Grimsby and let Ross waste the shirt instead.

I am no boo boy mate and have never booed a player or team in my life, even if you could argue it's deserved. As for the lazy and crap comment that was just tongue in cheek humour, although the post after does explain how I really feel about him. He has up to date been disappointing. Can you not try and put a different point of view across to say different instead of your psychotic ramblings at Shaun and Waynus both who know more about the club and the game than you
