A bug in the camp means Leeds United boss Neil Warnock will leave his selection for Saturday’s home game with Watford as late as possible.

The sickness bug affected several players before, during and after the midweek defeat at neighbours Burnley.

Yet the Elland Road chief is still hopeful to have a clean bill of health for the visit of the Hornets.

Warnock said: “We’ve had one or two lads down and we’ll have to leave it until nearer the time.

“There were three at Burnley. We thought it was something they ate at first.”

Aside from illness, Leeds have no new injury worries and have been boosted by news that striker Ross McCormack (pictured) is hoping to return to first-team action in early December following ankle surgery.

The Scotland international, 26, sidelined since damaging ankle ligaments in the defeat at Cardiff in September, is hoping to step up his rehabilitation next week.
