Steeton have their eyes on top spot as they host Campion in the West Riding County Amateur League on Saturday (2pm).

Current Premier Division leaders Hall Green United are in Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Challenge Cup action and Steeton will climb above them if they win.

They will move two points clear if they complete the double over Campion, having beaten them 3-2 in the opening game of the season.

Sixth-placed Tyersal are only three points off the summit and will leapfrog visiting Lepton Highlanders, who are fourth after an inconsistent start, with victory at Arkwright Street.

Salts should have visited Storthes Hall but instead go to Marsden for a rearranged fixture due to the Huddersfield side playing in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup.

Salts are up to seventh after losing just one of their last five games and will be keen to overturn a 4-3 setback when they played Marsden in late September. Leaders Wakefield City take on third-placed Ventus-Yeadon Celtic in Division One and, with only one point separating the teams, a tight game is expected.

Promoted Campion Reserves should be capable of moving into a safe mid-table berth with victory at home to bottom side Storthes Hall Reserves.

Meanwhile Wibsey, whose West Riding County FA Challenge Cup tie against Craven League side Grassington was postponed last weekend, will try again at Westwood Park this Saturday (1pm).
