There were home wins for Albion Sports and Eccleshill United in Baris Northern Counties East League Division One tonight.
The Eagles had former skipper Jermaine Springer back in their ranks and he opened the scoring in a 4-0 victory over Appleby Frodingham.
Marcus Edwards, who also returned last week, weighed in with a hat-trick as the Eagles made it back-to-back wins.
Albion had Charlie Flaherty to thank after they beat Grimsby Borough 1-0.
Flaherty lashed in a shot from the edge of the area 20 minutes from time to settle a tight, competitive game.
Albion boss Kulwinder Sandhu said: “We had more possession and more time in their half but we needed that one spark.”
