The Bradford Sunday Alliance League returns to league action this week after the previous week’s cup exploits.

Two clubs who were involved in the FA Sunday Cup last week clash at Emsleys Recreation ground.

West Bowling, who were beaten in a penalty shoot-out, clash with Bolton Woods, who won their tie and were 'rewarded' with a trip to Sunderland in the next round.

Woods are also celebrating thier 40th anniversary this year and have lots of activities in the pipeline.

Another club involved in FA Sunday Cup action last weekend were Thornton United, who were making their debut in the premier competition.

They had a victory, have been handed a home tie in the next round, and entertain Dudley Hill Rangers on Sunday at Manningham Mills.
