SIR – In T&A letters March 13, David Bowe states that it is important that people know the ‘facts’ (dictionary definition, truth) about what is to happen to the UK on leaving the EU and I’m sure he means well.

However, how can anyone know the ‘facts’ of that which has not happened?

It’s purely speculation and subject to individual personal opinion, therefore has no scientific credibility and so could be said to be pointless.
