READER LETTER: Trade, free trade and the Russian Infantry
SIR - Having recently read “Brexit and Free Trade” (Sam Winders, The Bruges Group), I can assure Brian Holmans that I have a far better understanding of trade and free trade than he imagines. So much so that I have absolutely no need of his somewhat condescending guidance on the subject.
As for Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, I can happily report he is now making even more history for himself as a recruit in Russia’s Arctic Mechanised Infantry Brigade based outside Murmansk.
