SIR - What an awesome sight a raging River Aire was at its height car after car were arriving at the bottom of Victoria Road in Saltaire in the dark lilt by lamplight to witness and photograph the shear might of a hugely swollen river, if man really thinks he could have contained something as fearful as this the worst for 70 years then he is as vain as ever.
Whatever they may think in Leeds we among the hills of Bradford know better as usual.
