Queen will not be our last monarch
SIR – David Hornsby says that now the Queen takes her place in history as the longest surviving British monarch, it would be an appropriate time to decide she will be the last one and she should be just another thing from the past. (T&A, September 14).
Wishful thinking Mr Hornsby, you’re on a hiding to nothing!
