SIR – I’m sorry Mr Lyons did not understand the commitment given by myself and Graham Terry to withdraw from the Baildon Parish Council by-election if he gave the same commitment. Mr Terry and I each explained it directly to him.
I am not “the Labour candidate”, as was incorrectly stated. I am standing as a Baildon resident.
