SIR – Odeon (in ancient Greece or Rome): a building used for musical performances. (Concise Oxford English Dictionary).
In the Bradford tradition of calling a spade a spade, let’s have an Odeon used for musical performances and the city centre nightlife that comes with it.
Let’s consign to the bin of history the Council’s attempts to burden residential areas with the phoney nightlife of takeaways and late night cafes.
Let’s ask George Galloway MP to put his friends’ money where his mouth is so that the Odeon is no longer just a word in the dictionary.
