SIR – I was pleased to read Sally Clifford’s article on the dangers of using mobile phones at the wheel (T&A, September 13).
These dangerous drivers should be made aware that if caught they face a fine and penalty points on their driving licence.
Recently, I witnessed a cyclist on the road, one hand on the handlebars and mobile phone in the other hand held to his ear.
Don’t these people value life?
