SIR – As a regular user of the Aire Valley road between Bingley and Keighley, I have some sympathy with Thomas O’Connell’s concern about deer crossing the carriageway (T&A, June 18).
I fear, however, that his solution – to erect warning signs – may be ineffective because, as far as I know, deer cannot read.
