SIR – I hope those correspondents who have denigrated Bradford councillors in the past, saw the picture (T&A, December 27) of independent councillors, husband-and-wife team Paul and Lynda Cromie, presenting the grit bins and 60 bags of salt to the community, paid for out of their councillors’ allowances at a cost of £1,200. They did the same last year.
