SIR – With the increase of the elderly in today’s society, the NHS should be aware that the audiology department has a major role to play.
While hearing aids are available, the distance to travel to Airedale Hospital by bus for repair or replacement is not always easy, even with the ambulance service, for whose care and attention we are grateful.
