SIR – On Tuesday, September 27, my husband and I visited Bradford and from a distance saw a banner on the NCP car park on Hall Ings indicating ‘£3 All Day Parking’.
We had to attend a meeting in City Hall on Thursday, September 29, so we decided to use that car park instead of the one we normally use at the leisure complex (NCP one being nearer to City Hall).
However, as we approached and were turning into the car park, I noticed in much smaller lettering at the bottom of the banner £3 only applied if you parked before 9am.
We saw the charges at the ticket stop of £4.20 up to two hours and £5.20 up to four hours, but of course we were unable to reverse out and thus had to pay £5.20 for 2hrs 28mins when we expected to pay £3 as we usually do at the leisure complex.
So beware if you intend to use this car park.
