SIR – Bruce Barnes said in the T&A (November 1) that he was disapointed that the Council did not publish the get-fit-for-summer discounts in Council pools and saunas at the Manningham pool.
If there is doubt that any facility is to remain open is it really wise to be pubishing offers that may not be available should the facility close?
Can the Council win, as if they had published the discounts at the Manningham pool would Mr Barnes have complained why had they published the discounts when the pool may be closing?
Looks like the Council were in a no-win situation.
