SIR – How many more times are Bradford Council going to amaze us with their incompetence?
I refer to the delayed opening of our new rubbish dump, sorry the mirror pool/water feature. This now runs alongside the Westfield fiasco and the neglect of the Odeon building.
Now we have a debate beginning as to whether outlying towns such as Ilkley and Keighley should break away from Bradford. Let Bingley and Shipley/Saltaire join and we can declare UDI from the incompetents at City Hall.
Councillor Green says the water feature “will be the keystone feature of the city centre”. Perhaps the Council should hand power to the Keystone Cops, at least they would make us smile!
