SIR – So Steve Wells (T&A, May 18) states that loss of trees near the former Bradford & Bingley HQ would ruin the character of Bingley and beauty will be destroyed.
He should be thanking Sainsbury’s for removing the huge eyesore that destroyed the character of Bingley years ago.
