SIR – Regarding the current rise in unemployment across Bradford. Westfield is the company that will create the most significant number of new jobs in the city.
So until it pulls its finger out and gets cracking on Bradford’s long-awaited new shopping centre, unemployment will remain high with just a few jobs being created here and there.
And with confidence in the retail sector returning across West Yorkshire, with Wakefield’s new Trinity Walk shopping centre now open and Leeds’s Trinity Arcade under construction, what is stopping Westfield from starting in Bradford?
