SIR – Saeed Butt (T&A, April 22) believes his car insurance has doubled because he happens to live in an area largely inhabited by Asians, yet the T&A frequently publishes reports of motorists living in areas predominantly inhabited by white people also having their premiums doubled despite years of claim-free driving.
Fortunately there are established insurers offering fairer deals, so nil desperandum Mr Butt, forget Shank’s pony and shop around.
