SIR – Occasionally – just occasionally – I see a tag that lights up the day, and I praise God for those he gives the power to stand out from the mediocre crowd.
Judging by his tag, Thomas Toczek does not appear to be one of this select band, whose graffiti are anything but a blot on the landscape (T&A, April 19).
Perhaps, just perhaps, he could learn something if he were sentenced to learn his craft at the feet of these masters, and forbidden ever to tag again until he displayed something of their imagination.
Give it up, lad, there’s a good boy. You’re really not up to it, I fear.
