SIR – Recently I stopped to admire Britannia House in the city centre. It really is a fine building, and what’s more, boasts a domed tower.
If the Council do decide to vacate the premises, it must not remain unoccupied and allowed to deteriorate like the twin-towered eyesore that has dominated the skyline on the opposite side of the City Park for more than a decade.
