SIR – Here’s an open letter to the Council.
Please tell me I’m wrong. Going down past the Cathedral, there’s a great view of the Big Hole, and of the massive metal piles that shore up the underground car park.
These piles are an attractive brown-orange colour. In fact, to my untrained eye, they look to be rusting away.
Can somebody at the Council assure me an elementary maintenance job has not been neglected for several years?
