SIR – I would like to thank the nurses and staff at the BRI, especially those on Ward 8, whose care and attention surpassed all expectations. Indubitably a team par excellence.
And grateful thanks to my surgeon, Mr Stewart, and the anaesthetist whose private consultations reassured a rather sceptical patient.
Although not yet out of the woods, reading back issues of the T&A I missed while hospitalised have been conducive to my recuperation.
