SIR – How about the Government’s latest? They are now telling us that we should be eating less red meat, because it is a contributing factor in the incidence of bowel cancer.
Red meat? Yes I remember it well, pretty tasty, is it not?
I know not why the Government are going to all this trouble in explaining to us the medical pitfalls of eating red meat.
They are doing a damn good job of making sure that we can’t afford it.
