SIR – I think Councillor Ian Greenwood is quite right to describe Kris Hopkins as “hypocritical” (T&A, January 19) when he was quite happy to become Leader of Bradford Council – the fourth-largest Metropolitan Authority in the country – before winning his place at the Palace of Westminster.
