SIR – May I compliment the workers who have recently relaid part of Allerton Road.
I do not mind (in hindsight) the inconvenience this caused me on a few mornings going to work, because the finished surface is superb – you can hardly see the joins!
Could I ask that consideration now be given to the road surface between Allerton Shopping Centre and Garforth Street?
