SIR – In the T&A on Tuesday, November 16, I and many others must have been delighted to see the photograph of the children of Hill Top Primary School in Low Moor as they had been named in the country’s top ten schools, being Yorkshire’s best performing state primary school based on Key Stage Two results over the last four years.

Head teacher Des Martin, all staff and children are to be congratulated on this very positive result. This points to outstanding team work – to all those connected, in whatever capacity, I say well done! In Strictly Come Dancing terms this is a definite ten!

I seem to recall, in my own school reports, on occasions, it said “Could do better,” but in the case of this school, they could not have done better and all Bradford should be proud of you.
