SIR - Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing? I think not.
On Saturday, July 15, you published a double page article on road congestion in Bradford.
A few days before a lady wrote from Baildon saying that the roads had been narrowed, thus causing congestion at the roundabout and down the hill.
The road into Lilycroft from Toller Lane roundabout has had the footpath widened - again causing congestion.
At present three islands are being put on Toller Lane between the Hare and Hounds pub and the lights at Haworth Road. The road is being narrowed from two cars width to one-and-a-half cars' width on either side, thus causing more congestion.
These works, I am sure, are not the only ones around Bradford causing more congestion and delay.
Do Councillors King, Hawksworth and the others really know what is going on at City Hall?
