SIR – So yet another beautiful building in Bradford is wasting away “before our very eyes,” as Arthur Askey would say.
The Conditioning House is going the same way as the Odeon building and becoming unusable through neglect.
If something had been done with the Odeon building years ago, we would now have a splendid partner to the Alhambra Theatre. Through Yorkshire Forward – now a distant memory – and the Council, it would appear to be irredeemable.
Is Conditioning House going the same way? Eventually we will end up with Little Germany and nothing else of architectural merit.
