SIR – I am disgusted that Councillor Sunderland and the Liberal Democrats voted against Sir Ken Morrison becoming Freeman of the City, as well as the Green Party (T&A, July 19), when they voted for Brian Noble who already left the city and had to come back to get it.
The Liberal Democrats also voted for David Hockney who went to America with his money.
At least Sir Ken has stayed in the city, employing thousands of people, and brought trade to Bradford as well. He wholeheartedly deserves it 100 per cent.
