SIR – Last night my wife and I visited the Bradford Playhouse to see the Bradford Players’ production of Mack And Mabel.
I could not believe the sheer quality of musical entertainment this outstanding local amateur theatre company gave, from the minute the wonderful orchestra struck up with the magnificent overture to the bows and final curtain.
This show was truly amazing from start to finish, full of pace, enthusiastic stage performances, outstanding costumes and wonderful music.
I would like to congratulate this local amateur theatre company on providing my wife and I with an exhilarating night’s entertainment.
My special congratulations go to the chap who played Mack Sennett and his sidekick Mabel Normand (played by Nigel Dixon and Amy Roche, pictured) Mr and Mrs Leigh Harrison, Cambrian Bar, Low Moor, Bradford
