SIR – Isn’t it about time we pulled out of the Eurovision Song Contest?
Coming last with just ten points says it all.
Our song, sung by Josh Dubovie, certainly wasn’t that good, whereas the German entry was perfect Eurovision.
But weren’t some of the countries taking part last Saturday just finding another way of telling us exactly how they feel about the United Kingdom?
TV-wise, I found the whole affair excellent, and must say I thought the German entry really stood out against everyone else. They deserved to win.
But as for us, let’s just say: “Goodbye Eurovision!”
