SIR – On a recent walk along Killinghall Road, I had to walk in the road at certain times to avoid the cars parked on the pavements.

There were cars parked on grass verges and half on the road, half on the pavement etc.

Have parking policies been changed for this area of Bradford, or can we all park where we want?

I only want the same rules to apply to residents everywhere.

Also, quite often I notice some of these cars seem to have a lapsed car tax disc. Is this why they have to park on the pavement?

Maybe I am foolish in paying for my car to be taxed and insured and making sure it is parked correctly.
