SIR – On Sunday, December 6, the British Heart Foundation is holding the Leeds Santa Jog to encourage people to have fun, get fit and save lives.
To launch this new event, the BHF is asking the people of West Yorkshire to join in to look after their own hearts and help a great cause.
We are hoping to attract over 400 people to take part at Clarence Dock in the city and help us raise over £20,000 to support the BHF’s life-saving work in the region.
The Santa Jog is great fun and open to all ages and abilities. You can run, walk or even crawl laps of the 2km route and we’ll supply Santa suits to all adults that take part.
Children are encouraged to wear fancy dress and there will be a prize for the best costume.
The emphasis is firmly on having fun – it’s not a race – so why not join us to look after your own heart and help others in need this Christmas?
