SIR – The “Liberal Elite” go on about equality, poverty, and social mobility (climbing up the wealth ladder).
If they are so concerned and obsessed, why don’t they donate large amounts to these causes?
These include “champagne socialists” like Tony Blair, John Prescott and David Blunkett, who now lives in a cottage on the Duke of Devonshire’s Chatsworth House Estate!
Also, Anthony (Wedgewood) Benn, now just plain Tony Benn, renounced his title but not his wealth.
