SIR – I’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who took part in our Tesco’s supermarket collections that took place at various location in Bradford on October 16 and 17 – we managed to collect a fantastic £1,896.98 This was my first supermarket collection as the fundraising manager for Macmillan Cancer Support and I found the support from Tesco’s staff, the people of Bradford and the volunteers fantastic.
Each and every day over 800 people are diagnosed with cancer. The money raised by doing something as simple as a supermarket collection helps Macmillan improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
We continue to provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. This would not be possible without the support of our volunteers.
