SIR – One hundred and sixty Muslims were massacred in just one country in a ten-day period, and perhaps up to a thousand in the last couple of months.

I have been waiting patiently for the usual letters of condemnation for such acts from those frequent letter-writers, Ms Mubarik Iqbal and Karl Dallas but, so far, in vain.

But then, the country is Pakistan, and the people doing the killing are Muslims, not Israelis.
