SIR – Gordon Brown is emphatic that the war in Afghanistan is essential to combat terrorism in Britain.
But given the revelation of yet another three British Muslim extremists, and the massive scale of devastation that would have occurred had they succeeded in their attacks, surely our blinkered Prime Minister needs to look no further than his own back garden to observe terrorism abundantly growing and flourishing, therefore Britain itself is where the main aim of combating terrorism should be focused.
