SIR – Why the sudden disappearance of radio commentary for Bradford City home games? Is it assumed that all supporters can attend the matches that are played at home? What about the elderly or disabled who can no longer get about?
I myself come under both these categories; does it make me less of a City supporter because I can no longer attend matches?
Until this season, I have had the choice of at least three different radio stations to choose from to listen to and follow the matches.
It is unbelievable that even our local station (incidentally run by volunteers) is no longer allowed to cover matches at home, and yet some stations are still covering away matches!
It just doesn’t make sense, and this decision has ruined my enjoyment of Saturday afternoons following the progress of Bradford City.
Occasional updates of scores are not enough; if I cannot watch my team at Valley Parade I should at least be able to listen to full commentary on at least one of the radio stations, surely?
I am extremely upset and annoyed about this, and I am sure I cannot be the only supporter who feels this way.
