SIR – Your support for the intervention of the Ombudsman in the Odeon saga (T&A Comment, February 2) is most welcome, although I note that you, too, are still referring to “the site being redeveloped”.
One may wonder what other irregularities the Ombudsman might discover.
If (or rather, when) the current plan is refused, it is to be hoped that the drawing-board then brought into use will be one which BORG has waiting in the wings.
It is the only sensible solution.
