SIR – Instead of people losing their homes because they have every possibility of it disappearing down a hole, why don’t the builders have to make a thorough search for subsidence and avoid all the upset or a near tragedy by the people living on top of them?
These urgent rules should be applied by City Hall or the Government, so that this tragedy never happens.
